How do I return an item?

We hope you are completely satisfied with you purchase, but if not, simply return the garment in unworn, new condition within 30 days of delivery for refund or exchange. We will send you an email when we receive your return.

What items are returnable?

  • Any item in new condition and with tags attached can be returned or exchanged, except for items on sale. New condition means it must have all tags intact, be free of deodorant and perfume, and not altered in any way. Swimwear and shapewear must have the protective liner in place.
  • Any item returned to us in anything other new condition, will be shipped back to you at your expense.
  • Sale items are not returnable.

How do I return/exchange items?

Exchanges are a breeze at thefittingcloset.com. When you receive your order, it will come with a prepaid mailing label and exchange form. Simply fill out the form and place it inside the original box with the item(s) you wish to exchange. Then place the prepaid label on top of the original mailing label and drop it in your mailbox or take it to a convenient USPS location. We will process the exchange as quickly as possible and ship the new item(s) to you at our cost.

If you wish to exchange a second (or third) time, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

If you wish to return and item for refund, the process is just as simple. Just repackage your items, include the return form, and either pay for shipping or use the prepaid return label. If you use our label, we will deduct $5 (plus tax, if applicable) in shipping from your refund. Original shipping fees will not be refunded.

Who pays for shipping on exchanges?

The Fitting Closet provides free shipping for the first exchange, both ways. Use our prepaid label included in your original shipment to send the item(s) back for exchange and we will cover the cost. Your replacement item(s) ship back at no cost to you. For subsequent exchanges, the customer is responsible for all shipping cost, both ways.

Who pays for shipping on returns?

The customer is responsible for shipping costs on all returns and original shipping fees are not refundable. You are welcome to use the prepaid label enclosed in your original package, in which case we will deduct $5 (plus taxes, if applicable) from your refund.
